Report: Becky Lynch Returning To WWE "Relatively Soon"

Current signs point towards Becky Lynch mounting her WWE return sooner rather than later.

Fans can expect Becky Lynch to return to WWE television relatively soon, reports Dave Meltzer in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report summarises the former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion's recent activities, with Lynch training and taking in PC Live matches at the Performance Center, backstage at last week's SmackDown tapings looking jacked, and present at Hell In A Cell 2021 as well.

Lynch had previously hinted at a WrestleMania 37 return after making teasing social media posts prior to each of the show's two nights. In April, WWE President Nick Khan commented that Lynch and Ronda Rousey would both be returning to the company in the near future, though Rousey has since announced that she is pregnant.

Lynch has been absent from WWE programming since May 2020, when she announced that she was relinquishing the Raw Women's Championship as a result of her own pregnancy, handing the belt over to Asuka. She gave birth to her and Seth Rollins' first child, Roux, on 4 December 2020.

With crowds set to return to WWE shows in July and the company reportedly planning big things for SummerSlam season, a Lynch return lines up nicely.
