WWE deliberately withheld certain information regarding its impending return to live, ticketed touring events from its roster.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that while WWE informed wrestlers that they'd soon be returning to the road, the roster wasn't informed of the cities, dates, and other scheduling information until the details were made public on Friday 21 May. This was done not only because the COVID-19 pandemic's fluid nature means plans can change in an instant, but also to prevent potential leaks.

WWE has only announced the following tour dates thus far:-

- Friday, July 16: SmackDown – Toyota Center in Houston

- Sunday, July 18: Money In The Bank – Dickies Arena in Fort Worth

- Monday, July 19: Raw – American Airlines Center in Dallas

Per Johnson, it is believed that the promotion will likely stick to states with more relaxed COVID-19 protocols, such as Texas, when finalising the rest of the tour dates. Florida, Iowa, and Pennsylvania are all under consideration at the moment.

There's currently no word on when WWE will announce further dates for the upcoming tour, which will run through Labor Day on 6 September.

WWE hasn't produced a fully-attended show since the pandemic first took hold in March 2020.
