Ric Flair has revealed that he nowadays no longer hears from long-time friend Triple H.

Speaking on the latest episode of his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast (via WrestlingNews.co), the Nature Boy addressed whether he thinks Hunter has been ousted from WWE:

"I have no idea. He and I were incredibly close, and now I never hear from him, so I don't know."

Flair and Triple H have been friends for decades by this point, with the two obviously spending a lot of time on-screen together during the days of Evolution. Away from the squared circle, though, and Naitch was the wrestling idol of the real-life Paul Levesque, with Trips regularly citing Flair as the greatest wrestler to ever lace up a pair of boots in addition to the two becoming extremely close friends.

Of course, Levesque has been out of the public spotlight for the past several months after undergoing major surgery due to a "cardiac event". During that time, the 14-time World Champion has been totally absent from the WWE Performance Center and from his role overseeing the NXT brand.

For Flair, his latest WWE stint came to an end last August, with some reports stating the two-time WWE Hall of Famer requested his release, whilst others stated WWE simply decided to fire the North Carolina native.
