The Rock was always very capable of doing a promo on his own for five minutes and making it entertaining, but when he had somebody to feed off of he was even better. Not many guys could hang with him. Chris Jericho is one that could on a consistent basis. On the October 30, 2000 episode of Raw, Michael Cole was interviewing Rock and Jericho at the same time. That upset Rock. He cranked up the intensity by making fun of Jericho's family (grandma Jezebel Jericho with the double X dirty panties) and talked about laying the smack down on all their candy asses. It was a very entertaining four minute promo as The Rock ended it using Jericho's signature "never ever be the same again" line. The crowd absolutely loved all of it.
