Roman Reigns has publicly thanked former boss Vince McMahon for "being great to [him] and [his] family".

The current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion stopped off to sign some autographs and pose for pictures outside NBCUniversal’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and he didn't shy away when asked some questions by YouTuber RainmakerNYC.

Amongst other things, Roman said that his 'Last Man Standing' bout vs. Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2022 would be "the last one". When asked what his mindset is going into what will surely be another physical war with Brock, Reigns simply said: "Don't lose".

It's the Vince stuff that'll catch most headlines though.

McMahon recently announced his retirement from WWE amidst sexual misconduct allegations. Roman wasn't directly asked to comment on those, but he did offer this: "I just wish him nothing but luck and happiness in his future".

Vince was obviously a huge supporter of Reigns behind the scenes. As the most powerful man in WWE, McMahon did everything in his power to make Roman his top babyface for several years running. When that failed, he pivoted and allowed Reigns to soar as a heel instead.
