Is WWE's Tribal Chief about to lose his Undisputed Universal Championship belts?
Is Roman Reigns' two-year run as WWE's top champion about to end?
WrestleVotes believe it might be. The outlet reported the following on Monday, noting that for the first time in a while, WWE had discussed having Roman dethroned from his perch as Undisputed Universal Champion. Decision-makers have apparently been "intrigued" by ideas pitched ahead of this Saturday's Clash at the Castle premium live event.

Reigns defends his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at Clash, which takes place in Cardiff, Wales' Principality Stadium on 3 September. It'll be WWE's first United Kingdom stadium show since SummerSlam 1992, with McIntyre, a Scotsman, portrayed as a homecoming hero in Wales.
Today marks two full years of Roman as a top WWE champion. The first big triumph of his current run came at Payback on 30 August 2020, where he dethroned Bray Wyatt to become Universal Champion, having returned and turned heel at SummerSlam the week prior. Then, this April, Reigns felled Brock Lesnar to take the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38, unifying the company's two top straps as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Reigns is currently enjoying WWE's longest World Title reign since Hulk Hogan took the belt in 1984, running with it for 1,474 days.
