Roman Reigns may have picked up an undisclosed injury while competing in the cage match main event of yesterday's (21 October) WWE house show in Sydney, Australia.

This is according to Lords of Pain, who write that Reigns was teaming with Daniel Bryan to face Luke Harper and Erick Rowan as an untelevised continuation of their Hell In A Cell programme, with 'The Big Dog' visibly struggling to move after the match.

The report notes that Reigns took one particularly nasty bump between the ropes and steel cage wall. Though he was able to finish the match, Roman was "hurting on his way up the ramp" and seemingly indicated to at least two WWE officials and medic that he was in trouble. Said staff members then spoke with Reigns as he headed to the back.

All speculation should be taken with a hint of cynicism, of course. There's no word on what kind of injury Reigns may have suffered or on the severity of any problems, though we'll likely learn more on his status as the week progresses. Here's hoping that SmackDown hasn't just lost one of its marquee stars.
