Roman Reigns Vs. Logan Paul Planned For WWE Crown Jewel 2022
The pair will meet in a Las Vegas press conference later today...
Roman Reigns may have just found his next challenger... and his name is Logan Paul.
That's according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with it being noted in the latest edition of said newsletter that the bout is expected to go down on November 5's Crown Jewel card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Meltzer would also reveal in that initial report that a press conference to promote the incoming blockbuster bout would be going down later today in Las Vegas, with Paul and WWE later confirming on last night's SmackDown that the conference would go down at 3:30 pm ET within the Dawg House Saloon & Sportsbook.
Both Paul and Reigns will be present.
This Undisputed WWE Universal Championship development comes hot on the heels of The Tribal Chief recently appearing on Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast, with that appearance swiftly being followed by the host suggesting he'd get the better of Reigns in a match.
An inevitable Twitter back-and-forth ensued, only for Paul to be invited to the latest edition of SmackDown by Triple H.
Paul then kicked off the most recent blue show and soon found himself met by a returning Paul Heyman and the rest of the Bloodline, only for Sami Zayn to once again take the bullet for the team; this time in the form of a Logan knockout punch.
With Paul already impressing during his first two outings within a WWE ring at WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam 2022, you can guarantee a great many eyes will be tuning in to see how he fares in a much more high-profile spot on the card. And the pair's press conference later today will no doubt provide plenty of intriguing fireworks, too.
