Rumour Killer On Another Potential TNA Departure

A rumour killer on another major name possibly exiting TNA Wrestling.

Killer Kelly
TNA Wrestling

With Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley having now officially left TNA Wrestling, one other name rumoured to be on their way out of the company is Killer Kelly.

PWInsider and Fightful Select initially reported that Kelly "finished up" with TNA after the Sacrfice PPV back on 8 March. Many obviously took this as meaning that the talent had departed TNA, but that is not quite the case.

In an update, Fightful Select reports that there was some "miscommunication" from within TNA. The term "finished up" was used to indicate Killer Kelly is taking some time off and is not factored into creative plans as of this time, and the 32-year-old is actually contracted to TNA until August 2024.

PWInsider also adds that TNA will soon start a storyline where a new partner will be teased for Masha Slamovich, with Slamovich and Kelly - as MK Ultra - two-time TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions. The duo's most recent reign with those belts came to an end at this year's TNA Sacrifice, where they dropped them to Dani Luna and Jody Threat.
