Seth Rollins Tears MCL And Meniscus - Will Address Future On WWE Raw
Could 'The Visionary' miss WrestleMania 40?
Seth Rollins has torn his MCL and partially torn his meniscus.
During his World Heavyweight Championship showdown with Jinder Mahal on this week's Monday Night Raw, 'The Visionary' appeared to injure his knee, noticeably hobbling around towards the latter stages of the contest.
After much speculation over precisely how serious the injury is, though, it's now been reported by Fightful Select that Rollins was left with a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus, seemingly after an awkward springboard moonsault landing in the match.

What does this mean for the future of the current world champ then?
Well, it looks like Rollins will be addressing precisely that on this week's edition of the red show, according to WrestleVotes.
I’m told the plan of as now is for Seth Rollins to address his health & future as World Heavyweight Champion this Monday night on RAW.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter was quick to note in his Daily Update that, as of yesterday afternoon, the plan was still to go with Rollins vs. CM Punk at WrestleMania 40. This could still change, of course, and it'll likely all depend on how quickly Seth recovers from the tears.
PWInsider explained how Rollins could possibly push himself to be fit after surgery on the meniscus in 3-4 weeks, but 4-6 weeks is the more common recovery time. This would still put him in a position to compete at the 'Show of Shows', though it isn't clear whether the champ would be available for other major events on the Road to WrestleMania.
Everyone here at WhatCulture wishes Rollins a speedy recovery.
