With the 2024 WWE Draft kicking off on this week's SmackDown, several major Raw names are expected to be at this week's blue brand outing.

Via PWInsider, amongst those Raw stars set to be at SmackDown are Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, The New Day, Sheamus, The Miz, Bronson Reed, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter.

On top of that, this week's SmackDown will see a contract signing between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his Backlash challenger AJ Styles. This will be the first match of any kind between Rhodes and Styles, although they were both technically a part of the 2016 Royal Rumble. Either way, the American Nightmare and the Phenomenal One have never faced off in singles or tag action, and AJ is a fine pick for Cody's first title defence; a great in-ring worker who can put on a good match and won't lose anything in defeat.

In other notable SmackDown news, Jacob Fatu is expected to make his WWE debut within the next week, with this week's Smackers seeming an extremely likely landing spot for the Samoan Werewolf.
