HBK's poor selling on WWE RAW hasn't gone unnoticed.

It seems that Shawn Michaels' less-than-stellar selling of Randy Orton's beatdown on this week's WWE RAW hasn't gone unnoticed.

The night's show-closing segment played out with HBK paying tribute to Ric Flair, who was punted by Orton last week, before stating that 'The Legend Killer' doesn't respect those who came before him. He teased a SummerSlam 2020 appearance by suggesting that Orton's match with Drew McIntyre could end with a Sweet Chin Music, before Randy struck.

Orton downed HBK with an RKO first. Michaels then ate the punt, though the connection wasn't as solid as some of the recent ones Orton has made. Disappointingly, Michaels was awake and cognizant in the corner not long after, underselling one of WWE's most devastating killshots.

Never shy of holding his tongue, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray tweeted the following:-

Ex-WWE wrestler Lio Rush also commented, stating that "2008 Shawn would have sold this punt until next month," though he has since deactivated his Twitter account.

Orton has been embroiled in a bitter feud with McIntyre over the past few weeks. He'll challenge for Drew's WWE Championship at SummerSlam this weekend, having laid him out to close RAW.
