Shawn Michaels Set For WWE Raw Next Week, Super Show-Down Matches Announced
HBK winds clock back to 2012...
WWE Hall of Famer and the most marketable star in the history of Christian cinema Shawn Michaels is scheduled to appear at Raw next week in Columbus, OH. Sadly, The Showstopper won't be dusting off the chaps, but will instead be in town to help the company promote The Undertaker and Triple H's 'Even More End of an Era' match set to take place at WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne on 6 October.
Six years ago, Triple H and The Undertaker's third WrestleMania encounter was billed as the "end of an era", though the company was purposefully vague on those terms. Hunter's perennial running buddy Shawn Michaels donned the stripes as special guest referee, but couldn't prevent 'Taker maintaining his then perfect streak.
The upcoming contest in Australia is being specifically slated as the final meeting between the pair - and no surprise, given they have a combined aged of 102. On Raw, a video package aired with a number of WWE legends - many of them younger than the participants - speculating on the tie's outcome. Amongst them was HBK.
WWE also announced for Super Show-Down that John Cena and Bobby Lashley will take on Kevin Owens and Elias, Daniel Bryan and The Miz will clash once more, and The Shield will compete in a six-man tag,
Michaels is also making his way down under, but isn't expected to wrestle.
