Should This Surprise WWE Star "Dethrone" Roman Reigns?

Vince Russo thinks Jey Uso should be the one to beat Roman Reigns for WWE's Undisputed Universal Title(s).

The former WWE and WCW creative chief told folks tuning into his 'Writing With Russo' show that he'd book the tag-team star to go over Roman long-term because "Jey needs it". Russo also thinks that's where WWE will go with the story next year following all of this tension between Uso and "Honorary Uce" Sami Zayn in The Bloodline.

Sami is another on Russo's lips, but he doesn't think Zayn needs to hold belts to be over with the fans. In fact, Vince would say the exact same about Reigns - meanwhile, he reckons becoming Undisputed Champ would do wonders for Jey's career prospects and elevate him to the top of the card in an instant.

That's what Russo would be aiming for if he had the pen behind the scenes in WWE. He'd try everything in his power to keep Roman and Sami ticking along, but make sure that Jey came out shining too.

Making Jey "as valuable as the other two" would be the writer's priority.
