Snowstorm To Affect WWE RAW Tonight?
Inclement conditions may create a block on the Road to WrestleMania.
As reported by PWInsider, inclement weather conditions may affect tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
Mike Johnson writes that the event is scheduled to take place amid a "massive winter storm," the projected severity of which has seen local police encourage Salt Like City residents not to drive. This will "undoubtedly" affect those travelling to and from the show - and consequently the attendance of the show itself - and in addition, WWE's ability to lug its production set-up to the Vivint Smart Home Arena. At time of writing, there have been 93 car crashes recorded since midnight, with up to a foot of further snow forecast until 4AM.
Ironically, such an event wreaked havoc on another Road To WrestleMania RAW, back in 2015, but the subsequent episode was widely praised, consistent with WWE's ability to deliver high quality when forced to remove themselves from their comfort zone. The most well-received TV show of 2019 - the November 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown - was also produced under intense, last-minute pressure.
Little is scheduled for tonight's episode, per WWE.com, on which there is no preview.
