Sting To WWE: 10 Ways To Book His Debut Now Undertaker Has Gone
7. Debut Him The Night Of WrestleMania 31
You might argue that something like Sting's first WWE appearance shouldn't be given away for free on TV at all. His first steps in WWE are a pretty big deal, it should be sold as a commodity worth paying for. WWE could do this at WrestleMania 31. In the build up there would be a heel crowing that he doesn't have a WrestleMania 31 match because people are afraid to face him. Bray Wyatt could be the man to do this. Then all of a sudden, a video vignette kicks in. This would signify Sting, although at first it would be dripping in mystery, a bit like Jericho's old return vignettes. As the weeks rolled on, the heel would continue to be haunted by the videos, each week with it being made clearer to be Sting. Finally a fortnight before Mania, Sting would reveal himself to the world in a final video, saying he's coming to WWE and he will face the coward he has been stalking at WrestleMania 31. Then on the go-home Raw we get a video highlighting Sting's career and threat. On the night of WrestleMania itself we finally get to see what has been built up with anticipation, Sting's first WWE match.
