Charlotte Flair has revealed that she initially thought her WWE entrance theme was a rib by somebody on the production team.

The Raw star, who will challenge Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Title at Hell In A Cell on 20 June, told BBC Radio that she thought WWE were taking the p*ss out of her when she heard her music for the first ever NXT TakeOver event in May 2014.

There, Flair wrestled Natalya for the vacant NXT Women's Title. Both ladies turned in a classic performance between the ropes, but Charlotte was a tad distracted by some rather familiar-sounding melodies. WWE had used her father's timeless tune as the basis for a remixed version that'd suit his daughter, and that caught Charlotte off guard.

Flair hadn't heard it before the event. She knew she was getting new music, but she didn't think it'd be anything like her dad's. In fact, Charlotte worried that people backstage were taking a sly dig at her for following in Ric's footsteps when she heard it blare over the PA system at Full Sail University.

That wasn't the case, of course.
