One year on from the spectacle of WrestleMania XXX, the WWE Universe was expecting a somewhat toned-down event when the Show of Shows rolled around again. In typical pro wrestling fashion however, fans were shocked to the core during the main event.

The climax of 'Mania 31 seemed predictable and stale, with the majority of the WWE Universe expecting The Big Dog to tame The Beast and walk away as the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That was not the case though, as, towards the seemingly certain finish of the match, Seth Rollins' music hit and the crowd in attendance came unglued.

Rollins' run as Mr Money In The Bank throughout 2014 and the spring of 2015 brought him to the forefront of fans' minds as his standout performances against the likes of Lesnar, Reigns and Cena showcased his stellar in-ring ability. The Architect stormed his way to the ring as both competitors were down and cashed in his briefcase, becoming the first superstar in history to cash-in during a match. Mere moments after cashing in, Rollins hit curb stomps on both men and pinned his former Shield brother to capture his first World title, ending the show at the top of the ramp while the crowd lost their collective minds.
