The Many Princes Of Wrestling - Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Prince Devitt

Prince Puma
New Japan Pro Wrestling

From a man who may not have too long left as a prince to a man who lost his prince status a while back now. Prince Devitt became Finn Bálor, and he is on his way to becoming the fastest man in WWE history to reach the top of the mountain.

Bálor grabbed the attention of all and sundry with his work as Prince Devitt in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It was here that Fergal Devitt became a Prince and was the brains behind arguably the most notorious faction in modern pro wrestling outside of WWE: the Bullet Club.

With BC Prince Devitt moved from the Juniors up to the Heavyweights, and whilst he never managed to grab the IWGP Heavyweight Championship he more than established himself alongside the Makabes, Tanahashis, and Nakamuras of this world.

He may no longer be a prince, but it won't be long before Bálor is one of wrestling's kings.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
