5. Survivor Series 2005

Wrestling angles tend to repeat themselves, as bookers often go back to the well of ideas to find inspiration. When it's a really good idea, though, the repetition is more forgivable.

The Undertaker spent most of 2005 feuding with Randy Orton, beating "The Viper" at WrestleMania but losing to him at SummerSlam. When the two faced off in a casket match at No Mercy, Orton pulled a Kane, locking 'Taker in the casket and setting it on fire. Once again, the casket was opened to reveal a missing legend.

The following month at Survivor Series, both Raw and Smackdown fielded five-man teams for a traditional elimination match, one which would give the winning show bragging rights. Smackdown won when Randy Orton was the sole survivor for the blue team, but his celebration was cut short when druids wheeled out an upright casket and a furious "Phenom" burst out. Though Orton managed to flee, all of the superstars who got in 'Taker's way found themselves victims of a very angry "Lord of Darkness."
