The Undertaker claims WWE fans will never see his iconic hat and trench coat combo on-screen ever again.

Ariel Helwani sat down with the icon for BT Sport. During the interview, 'Taker said WWE chiefs were surprised when he turned up for the Raw Is XXX special on 23 January without his famous attire. They'd expected the "old Undertaker", but Mark Calaway told them that wouldn't be happening.

He didn't have his gear with him for a reason - that "old Undertaker" is "gone".

Helwani asked if 'Taker would consider wearing it again for special appearances in the future, but Calaway said he wouldn't. He's closed the door on that portion of his legendary career, and doesn't fancy going backwards.

In short, if The Undertaker makes more appearances on WWE TV/pay-per-view, he'll do so with the 'American Badass' look witnessed in January. He's comfortable with that, and said it's important to focus on future "storytelling" rather than the past.

Calaway has never been this open with the media. The icon admits he's been enjoying that freedom, but says there's no way he'll bring the hat and coat back for another whirl.
