'Taker and Edge had been to hell and back during their epic rivalry on SmackDown back in 2007 and 2008 that it was only fitting that it end inside Hell itself.

A year-long narrative birthed out of the brilliant decision to have Edge cash-in on a wounded Deadman and steal his World Championship (to write the injured 'Taker off TV), the pair told one heck of a story as they defied multiple injuries, extended absences and the awe of 'Taker's previous feud with Batista to deliver an absolute barn-burner of a rivalry. And after they excelled in Edge's TLC environment, the decision was made to close the feud in 'The Deadman's house at SummerSlam '08.

These two had a series of great matches leading up to this one, so they knew exactly how to showcase each other's strengths - and this one was no different. The rightful main event of the evening, the long-time enemies tore the house - and literally the cell - down as they pulled out all the stops to end their program in appropriately vicious style.

This one had it all: great action, table spots, Spears through the cell, steel steps and an excellent closing sequence which saw 'Taker return all of the diabolical actions Edge had done to him over the years. It was well-executed and one of the most vicious Hell In A Cell matches of the PG era, serving as the perfect conclusion to what had been one of the decade's greatest stories.
