TNA's The Final Deletion: 8 Things You Totally Missed

2. From Sunset To Sunrise

Less symbolic for a moment, but something that may very well be overlooked by those spending way too much time analysing the Final Deletion. The battle, Brother Nero's Armageddon, was always going to be monumental, epic, lengthy. What better time for a battle to begin than at sunset?

The brothers battle in the darkness, lit only by the spotlights that I presume Jeremy Borash personally drove to the Hardy compound in North Carolina. The 'match' itself only lasts 10 minutes or so in television time, but by the time Jeff is plummeting off the Hardy Boyz logo now on fire, dawn is upon us.

Broken Matt and Brother Nero fought from sunset, all the way through to sunrise.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
