UFC 235 Predictions

When breaking down any Jon Jones fight, the question is never "how can Jon Jones beat his opponent?" because the answer to that is easy. In any way he wants to finish the fight. The real question to ask is "Can Jones' opponent find a weakness in his game?" and sadly for Anthony Smith, it's highly unlikely that he'll be able to do that.

All credit to Smith, as he's been on a great run as of late and has become a bit of a dark horse in the division, finishing the likes of Volkan Oezdemir and 'Shogun' Rua in impression fashion. He's as tough and as gritty as a fighter comes and that will help him beat a lot of opponents. That's still not going to be enough against someone on the level of Jones.

'Bones' just seems to get better every time he cartwheels into the Octagon. Whether it's his devastating elbows, lethal kicks or slick submissions, the level that Jones competes at far exceeds everyone in his division, especially Anthony Smith.

Prediction: Jon Jones via first round TKO
