3. Gina Carano & Henry Cavill

Before Ronda Rousey burst onto to the MMA scene, Gina 'Conviction' Carano was the most popular woman in the sport. Carano went 7-0 as a professional, before running into a roadblock by the name of Cris Cyborg. Following the loss to Cyborg, 'Conviction' decided to pursue a career in acting. She has since appeared in several films including Haywire and Deadpool.

In September of 2012, it was reported that Carano and actor Henry Cavill had become an item. Cavill is best known for playing the role of Superman in several films, including Man of Steel.

The two were spotted together at several Los Angeles hot spots and seen holding hands at a Hollywood Hills grocery store. However, the power couple's relationship wasn't meant to last.

The two split — then got back together — before breaking up a final time in December of 2014.
