6. Ultimate Warrior And Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter, Col. Mustafa, And General Adnan
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E79Erfdpmw0 While this match is more famous for what took place surrounding it, the main event of SummerSlam 1991 is actually a pretty good match. The dream pairing of the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan took on the Triangle of Terror consisting of Iraqi sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter, Colonel Mustafa (the former Iron Sheik who somehow moved to Iraq), and their manager General Adnan. The backstage drama was obviously the real star, as Warrior had recently demanded new conditions to his contract and asked for pay equal to Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania VII along with a higher royalty rate for merchandise. Vince McMahon and the WWF agreed to these new terms but, as soon as Warrior came through the curtain from this match, McMahon handed him a letter suspending Warrior from the WWF. According to Vince, Warrior had threatened to "stay home" if his new conditions were not met and Vince only agreed to his demands to ensure that he showed up for SummerSlam 1991. Obviously, Vince did not intend to follow through on his promises and Warrior refused to accept the suspension. He tried to quit the WWF a short time later but the World Wrestling Federation refused to release him, triggering a long legal drama that only recently seemed to reach a conclusion.
