The Undertaker's 10 Most Shocking Controversies

7. Sara And Michelle McCool

The fact Undertaker had sacrificed another wrestler's career to put his wife over was clearly a sign of his love for Sara. Another symbol of their eternal bond was the 'sara' tattoo which Undertaker had in bold lettering on his throat. The Deadman had married Sara in the year 2000, taking on her kids and going on to have two kids of his own. Everything looked as settled as settled possibly could be, but just two years after the birth of Gracie in 2005, Sara and Undertaker were no more. The exact reasons for the breakup are unknown, but at some point in 2007, Taker became romantically involved with WWE diva Michelle McCool. The mystery surrounding the sudden failure of his committed marriage and quick involvement with a WWE diva helped to fuel online speculation. The real talking point however was the awkward 'sara' tattoo he had adorning his throat. Taker managed to get it removed and now has a new design on his neck. The lesson here is a tattoo may seem a great idea, but in Taker's case, he really did live to regret it.
