Update On WWE's Relationship With TNA Wrestling

Under Scott D'Amore, TNA had struck up a working relationship with WWE.

With TNA's Jordynne Grace appearing at this year's WWE Royal Rumble, that was soon followed by reports of WWE and TNA Wrestling having a working relationship that could lead to more crossovers between the two companies in the future. After the shock TNA departure of Scott D'Amore - the former TNA President - some have questioned whether this would impact the chance of WWE and TNA working together again at some point.

As per Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, despite the exit of D'Amore, WWE and TNA have continued to communicate about possible ideas for the future. Though nothing concrete has been put in place as of yet, the door is said to be "not closed" when it comes to the parties doing other things together.

On top of this, certain TNA executives are heading to Philadelphia - the home of WrestleMania XL - this weekend, although it's not known if these execs are in Philly for anything WWE-related.

Under the stewardship of Paul Levesque, WWE is now very much a different beast to previous years when it comes to working with other promotions. As well as Grace appearing in the women's Rumble match this year, NXT's Charlie Dempsey worked for All Japan a couple of months ago, not to mention Shinsuke Nakamura was allowed to work for NOAH last year.
