Vince Russo: 10 Dream Feuds I Would Have Booked

4. John Cena Vs Sting

Cena is the one guy on this entire list that I have never actually worked with in person. I use that qualification because back in 2002 when I almost went back to the WWE, Cena was just getting started. At that time I was consulting for the WWE for maybe 10 days, and I can remember suggesting some MAJOR ideas for Cena that would have had him arriving with impact. I can vividly remember how my main idea pitted him against Vince McMahon almost immediately. Sting I worked a very long time with him both in WCW and TNA. To my blessing, he and I established a personal bond, which was, and still is very special to me. Sting was there when I was first saved, when I became a Christian, and he walked me through some very crucial parts of my life. In looking at this match-up, I€™m envisioning Sting in his prime. Buzz cut, colorful outfits and face paint, and lots and lots of raw energy. This one is tough to call, but I€™ll tell you what I see the difference being. Cena is as quick as he is powerful. He can catch you out of nowhere and turn a loss into a victory within seconds. And it is based on that speed and quickness that I give the 1-2-3 to... CENA.
