What Happened After AEW Rampage Went Off-Air (Spoilers)
AEW pre-taped this week's Christmas Day edition of Rampage, but something huge happened.

Tony Khan decided to "send Hook" after this week's pre-taped AEW Rampage went off the air.
The major spoiler here is that Cody Rhodes defeated Sammy Guevara to become your new TNT Champion on the broadcast. That, rather predictably, was greeted with a round of boos from the live crowd - they continued to jeer when Cody cut a post-show promo and even teased a full-blown heel turn.
Rhodes said he had "a feeling in his heel" after vanquishing Guevara. Nice.
A fan in attendance for the tapings posted a video on his YouTube channel that showed the full fallout. Khan came out to congratulate Cody, thanked the Crockett family for their impact on the pro wrestling industry (AEW returns to North Carolina for 'Battle Of The Belts' in Charlotte on 8 January) and then introduced Hook.
Taz's son, who impressed during his recent in-ring debut on Rampage, shook hands with Rhodes before slapping him across the face. That got a huge pop from the audience, and it led to Cody asking Khan for a match with the newbie.
Tony said he'd think about it, but it seems likely that Hook will be installed as a TNT Title challenger going forwards.
