What If WWE WrestleMania Was Always 2 Nights?

23. WrestleMania 13

WrestleMania 13 is another one of the easiest years to pick, as the No Disqualification Submission Match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart steals the show to the point that it is better remembered than the actual main event of The Undertaker beating Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship in their own No Disqualification match.

Hart and Austin checks nearly all the boxes. They're two of the biggest stars on the roster at the time in the most passionate and interesting feud that had already proven itself to be worthy of a prominent focal point. They also have a special guest referee in Ken Shamrock to add that bonus flair to the match. If this were for a title—and you can argue it should have been, especially since Austin had won the Royal Rumble by cheating out The Hitman, who actually did win the WWF title right after and dropped it to Sid just to make this happen—then this might actually be another "what if" with a bigger change.

The Undertaker vs. Sycho Sid very well could have been a non-title No DQ grudge match to headline the first night, and Hart might have kept the title and defended it against Austin on Sunday night.
