What If WWE WrestleMania Was Always 2 Nights?

13. WrestleMania 23

The running trend continues for the idea of the other World championship also featuring the Royal Rumble winner and not going on last with WrestleMania 23.

John Cena headlined against Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship, ending the second WrestleMania in a row with Cena retaining over a beloved legendary babyface. It was Cena at his peak, so it's clear that was WWE's top priority, but there are plenty that say The Undertaker beating Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship should have taken priority.

That is not only because that match had just as much value to it, but The Undertaker's streak was also on the line and in serious jeopardy. By then, the concept of his undefeated streak was at a fever pitch, and The Phenom had found a new groove to his career where he was putting on some of his best matches ever.

There likely would have been some consideration to the Battle of the Billionaires Hair vs. Hair match also being in contention, as it featured Vince McMahon, Donald Trump and Stone Cold Steve Austin and essentially completed the trifecta of matches promoted the most for the show, but Batista's title loss wins out.
