What If WWE WrestleMania Was Always 2 Nights?
6. WrestleMania 30
Some of the easiest WrestleManias to pick are the ones with a story that spans more than one match, as is the case with WrestleMania XXX.
It was certainly not the game plan for that year to hinge on Daniel Bryan of all people, as WWE originally had a straightforward idea of Batista winning the Royal Rumble and beating Randy Orton for the world title. CM Punk would have likely fought Triple H, and Bryan would have been much lower on the card.
Bryan's popularity proved too much for them to ignore, though, and with Punk leaving the company, that opened a door to have Bryan face Triple H with the stipulation that if he beat The King of Kings, he'd be added to the World title match.
He did just that, meaning the first night would have culminated in Bryan earning that opportunity and building some momentum toward the ultimate finale.
Absolutely no justification can be made that Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker's streak should have closed Saturday night. That was too traumatic and disappointing of a loss, which would have made fans livid for the second night.
