What If WWE WrestleMania Was Always 2 Nights?
7. WrestleMania 29
Once again, The Undertaker finds himself in a position to be in the main event for WrestleMania 29, taking a back seat to The Rock and John Cena. But this time around, CM Punk might actually finally be scratched off the list to get his main event, but it still wouldn't be a guarantee.
There's no argument for Alberto Del Rio defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger. Not only does it not include a Royal Rumble winner, but WWE barely cared about that then. Speaking from experience of being at the show live, no pomp and circumstance even happened when they were making their entrances. That all gets overshadowed the next night on Raw with Dolph Ziggler's Money in the Bank cash-in, too.
But there was Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred match that could have been the other option instead of The Undertaker vs. CM Punk, and that not only has the added bonus of Triple H's career being on the line, but it did go second-to-last, which may indicate WWE valued it slightly higher than Punk's clash with The Deadman.
This is as much of a coin toss as one can get, though. It's impossible to know which of those two matches WWE would have chosen.
