What They Did Next: WWE 2021 Releases - Part 2
4. Curt Stallion
Curt Stallion is yet another of those wrestlers where you look at how they were used and wonder why WWE ever bothered to hire them in the first place. His first televised match took place on the 205 Live show in October 2020 and he was hired on the strength of that match a week later. Only eight months later, Stallion would be released by the company in the 25 June cullings long before WWE's early investment in him even had a chance to pay off.
Based on the sheer volume of his work since leaving, that seems to have been a big mistake. Under the new name Stallion Rogers, he made an in-ring return at VIP Wrestling's July event It Takes Two in a match against Shane Taylor. Over the rest of the summer he wrestled in events for Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment, Black Label Pro, Game Changer Wrestling, and Glory Pro Wrestling.
At All American Wrestling's Destination Chicago event, Stallion became one half of the AAW Tag Team Champions alongside Jake Something, a man he also faced for the Black Label Pro Heavyweight Championship at their Ground Control To Filthy Tom event.
