Kurt Angle has named John Cena the "greatest superstar of all time".

Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, André The Giant and others were left to eat Cena's dust when Kurt reminisced about battles with JC on Twitter; after WWE's official account posted footage of Angle vs. Cena at No Mercy 2003, the Olympian said he believes that his opponent that night went on to become the absolute best ever.

Angle cited Cena's consistency, and said he was "dominant for 15+ years". He then pointed out that "nobody" had been on top for that long in WWE - not Austin, not Rock, not Hogan. There's a slight flaw in Kurt's argument when one thinks of 'Taker though - he certainly has reigned supreme for longer than Cena.

However, as much as some will disagree with Kurt's thoughts and point to 'The Deadman', he doesn't care. He's said before in interviews that Cena impressed him straight away, and his longevity in the World Title scene means a hell of a lot to Angle. The icon can't believe that John worked such a relentless schedule for as long as he did.

So, there you go. John Cena is the man Kurt Angle thinks deserves to be labelled WWE's "greatest of all time".
