Who Was Alexa Bliss' Crash Test Dummy At WWE's Performance Center?

A current champion had to take her 'Twisted Bliss' finish from every angle.

Current Raw Tag-Team Champion Angelo Dawkins must've had sore ribs after a lengthy training session at WWE's Performance Center years ago.

One half of The Street Profits played the role of "crash test dummy" for Alexa Bliss as the future star worked out the kinks to her new 'Twisted Bliss' finisher. Back then, the top-rope move wasn't even called that - it was called the 'Sparkle Splash', but Bliss (who was readying a heel turn) thought it needed a more menacing name.

Alexa told the @WWEonFOX Twitter account that the move was inspired by her old gymnastics routine. That twist was how she'd dismount from the balancing beam after practices, and she wanted to make it part of her wrestling arsenal somehow.

Lance Storm, who was coaching at the PC, was the first one to take it. After that, it was all Dawkins. He patiently moved around the ring to different positions so Bliss could see which angles were best to hit the finish safely.

She's thankful for his help, and estimates Angelo must've taken 'Twisted Bliss' a good 20-30 times that afternoon. What a trooper, fam.
