Why Seth Rollins HATES This WWE Show (WWE News)
Seth Rollins is not a fan of WWE Unreal.
With WWE Unreal certainly splitting opinion when it landed on Netflix earlier this year, one person who's not a particular fan of that show is Seth Rollins.
During a recent appearance on Bert Kreischer’s Something’s Burning, Seth and Becky Lynch discussed the merits of a show like WWE Unreal - which peeled back the curtain to reveal some of the creative process behind the WWE product - with the Man first saying how, when they were fans, they would've loved to see Unreal. For the Visionary, though, he was less keen about showing how the sausage is made.
As Rollins explained:
"I do hate it. I don't hate all of it. There's some parts of it that I think are fascinating and interesting, but there's some things that, in our business, everybody knows what it is, everybody knows that it's predetermined and planned, but the grey area, that one little question that, like, 'Maybe they really don't like each other. Maybe there's something there. What could happen?' That unpredictability that it creates, that’s the magic, that’s where the magic happens in our business, is that, just, little seed of doubt. And when you start to just chip away at that, it becomes a bit tricky."
With a second season of WWE Unreal already confirmed for 2026, Seth Rollins is reportedly set to be a heavily featured player in that sophomore season, with his Money in the Bank win and subsequent SummerSlam cash-in on CM Punk both filmed by Unreal director Chris Weaver.
Rollins is currently out of action after suffering a shoulder injury against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel back in October, with him stripped of the World Heavyweight Championship as a result of that. The 39-year-old was written off TV after his Vision buddies, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, attacked him, seemingly kicking him out of the group.
As for his road to recovery, Seth told Kreischer that he's hoping to step up his rehab and training in 12 weeks or so, "locking in" in February and aiming to give himself a month after that before he can return to action. All being well, he'll be on track to be back in time for WrestleMania 42, but obviously anything can happen between now and then.
Previously, the belief was that Rollins was pencilled in for a huge match against Roman Reigns at next year's Showcase of the Immortals, but that was before that Crown Jewel injury forced Seth onto the sidelines. Whether Seth is back in time for 'Mania, and whether those plans will still be in place, remains to be seen.
