Why THIS Could Be One Of WWE SmackDown's Greatest Ever Matches

Don't miss this week's episode of SmackDown. WWE history will be made!

Edge has been very candid about how much time he has left in-ring. Previously, the 'Rated-R Superstar' told fans that he likely has around a year of top-tier work left, which is why this Friday's SmackDown is such a special occasion that should be treasured by supporters worldwide.

WWE has booked two World Title tournament Triple Threats for SmackDown, but one of them could be historic. Edge vs. AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio is on the card in Knoxville, Tennessee. Read that sentence again - specifically the three names involved, then pinch yourself asking if this is actually 2023.

It is. You're here, so are they, and they're about to tear the house down.

Both Edge and AJ moved over from Raw in the 2023 Draft, but nobody expected they'd be matching up vs. Mysterio anytime soon. WWE has put this unlikely match on format sheets for Friday's show though, and it feels iconic. Put it this way: This could very-well be the final time any of these wrestlers work together.

Forget any promotion-specific tribalism and that sort of stuff for a second. Don't miss the chance to see three legends do their thing. They'll be motivated to have one of the best matches SmackDown has ever seen, and they're going to produce a classic.

Again, don't miss it.
