With only weeks remaining until WrestleMania 35, reports today have suggested that WWE are close to unveiling a location for 2020's iteration of their annual showpiece event.

In an article first published on Pro Wrestling Insider, it's alleged that the company have settled on Tampa, Florida for WrestleMania 36. Specifically the Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The reports went on to suggest that WWE would be announcing the location in the coming weeks, likely in a press conference being held on March 7th. Coincidentally, exactly one month before WrestleMania 35 takes place in New York City on April 7th.

The move would see a quick return to Florida for WWE, who last held the event in the state in 2017. WrestleMania 33 attracted an alleged 75,000+ crowd to the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, although that figure is heavily disputed. This would, however, be the first time the event was held in Tampa.

While confirmation on this is yet to be forthcoming from WWE, the reports have suggested that it could be announced imminently to fit with the company's policy of unveiling the location a year in advance. Following the success of hosting the event in the state two years ago, Florida could be set for yet another global wrestling weekend.
