Lady Frost has formally requested her immediate release from Impact Wrestling.

The wrestler thanked the company (along with Scott D'Amore and Gail Kim "for the opportunities") on Twitter, but it appears she's ready for a fresh challenge. Interestingly enough, Frost only inked a deal with Impact in November 2021.

Eight months later, she wants out.

Frost last wrestled for Impact at the promotion's Multiverse Of Matches event on 1 April. There, she teamed with Gisele Shaw against three other teams in a four-way tag effort. The bout only lasted approx 10 minutes, but it was well-received by live fans in Dallas.

There's no word quite yet on whether or not Impact has accepted the release, but stay tuned for more on that. Frost also didn't give any clues about whether or not she had another gig lined up in her tweet - could a run in WWE or AEW be within reach?

Frost previously worked as Jamie Frost in a 30-second loss to Asuka on the 26 March 2018 Raw. She has wrestled twice for All Elite too; both matches took place on Dark in November 2020.
