Wrestling Moves That LOOK Horrible (...But Are Actually Totally SAFE!)

7. Corner Hip Attack

You'll struggle to find a regularly used wrestling move that looks as savage as Toni Storm's thunderous corner hip attack.

Each and every time her opponent's head snaps back in-between the turnbuckles, an audible gasp is typically combined with a genuine fear the wrestler in question has just had their neck horrifically crunched mid-match.

If the people involved fail to execute the move properly, as with just about any wrestling move, things can go badly wrong, of course.

But when done right, the shocking hip attack typically just involves the attacker driving their hips into the middle turnbuckle at a high speed. The person taking the move then makes the most of the part of the hip that connects with them by throwing themselves back between the middle and bottom turnbuckles like they've just had their souls smashed out of them.

The odd accidental full hip to the mug is to be expected every now and then. However, for the most part, these hip attacks - also used by The Usos and Solo Sikoa at times - are a safe way to stun an audience.
