Wrestling's Dumbest Criminals

4. Jerry Lawler

Running over someone is a bad idea at the best of times. It's particularly unwise when the foot in question happens to be on patrol.

One of the more colourful incidents from Jerry Lawler's litany of legal issues took place outside Memphis International Airport back in 1999, when The King apparently became embroiled in a law enforcement officer over an unpaid parking ticket. The argument didn't end in a piledriver, but a vile driver, as Lawler rolled over the cop's foot as he sped off.

Though he denied flattening the flatfoot's foot, Lawler was indicted on a reckless endangerment charge. Saving himself any further trouble, he pleaded guilty and forked over a $25 fine.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
