9. That Spear
Roman Reigns is not the first wrestler to use The Spear. While Edge did not invent the move by any means, he may be one of the most famous WWE Superstars to use it as his finisher. When the "Rated R Superstar" would crouch down in the corner of the ring, his sights set on his opponent, fans would immediately begin chanting, "Spear! Spear! Spear!" Edge's former tag-team partner, Christian, would also use The Spear (in my opinion, not just as a nod to his onscreen-brother, but also as a cheap way to get a nostalgic pop from the fans). Reigns isn't even the only wrestler to be using The Spear right now. I would classify Kaitlyn's Spear as formidable it's always on target, and it's always fierce. But after these last few months of Reigns showcasing his take on The Spear, his is the best. He's larger than the other aforementioned Spear-givers, and stronger. Combined with his incredible speed, he creates a huge impact when he makes contact. When Roman Reigns Spears someone, it's a head-turner. He has our undivided attention, and it's always a game-changer for the match. Best of all, in my book: he doesn't call for it. It's a Spear out of nowhere, and it is AWESOME. He's chosen a move that is very familiar to fans, and has made it even more remarkable.
