WWE: 10 Most Jaw-Droppingly Stupid Future Endeavours
8. Harry Smith
Second generation superstars are usually can't-miss prospects. A large part of WWE's current roster is made up of performers who've followed in their family's footsteps. Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Goldust & Cody Rhodes, Curtis Axel, Tamina Snuka, Natalya Neidhart, Primo, The Usos, Alberto Del Rio and Road Dogg are all sons or daughters of former pro wrestlers. The son of the late British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, Harry Smith's time as a member of The Hart Dynasty (along with Natalya Neidhart and Tyson Kidd) appeared to be a sign of good things to come. He had his father's look and skills in the ring and his team with Kidd was having exciting matches in the middle of the card. Then WWE ran an ill-timed breakup angle and after a short program Smith was demoted to wrestling primarily on Superstars before being released in August, 2011. Since leaving WWE he has experienced a career renaissance as one of the top gaijin to compete in New Japan Pro Wrestling, becoming a two-time IWGP tag team champion with Vance Archer. The smart money is on him returning to WWE at some point, and hopefully the company will be better prepared to utilize him.
