WWE: 10 Legitimate Tough Guys

4. Jack Swagger

jack swagger Much in the same vein as Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger is a real wrestler and really tough. He boasts an outstanding amateur wrestling record, and played both Football and Wrestling at the University of Oklahoma. If not for being swayed by the WWE money and promise of stardom, perhaps Swagger may have gone down the same road as Kurt Angle and became an Olympic gold medalist. Fellow Oklahoma native Jim Ross is said to have been instrumental in instead turning Swagger and the WWE into each others paths. Swagger has found mixed fortunes in the WWE, and his real achievements are still arguably at the amateur level. He became one of the most successful wrestlers in Oklahoma history, setting a single season record of 30 pins. Amateur wrestling is of course one of the toughest and most respected sporting disciplines to be involved in. The grueling conditioning and fitness involved to be the best is absolutely huge. Perhaps that is why Swagger developed his unfortunate fondness for Marijuana, the drug which he was arrested for driving with earlier this year. No doubt about it though, to succeed so highly in real wrestling stands Swagger out as one of the toughest men in the WWE locker room.
