4. The Miz
An awesome 224-day run with the US title started for The Miz on the first RAW after the 2009 Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Beating Kofi Kingston for the gold in early October, he held the belt until May 2010. Title defences were few and far between at major events because The Miz also held the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship with The Big Show during the spring of 2010. Before that he won two pay-per-views matches at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber events against MVP. ShoMiz lost the tag titles to The Hart Dynasty and, during that rivalry, The Miz dropped the US belt to the legendary Hitman himself on an episode of RAW. Bret Hart made him tap to the Sharpshooter.
