The idea of a heel authority figure is the most tired thing in wrestling. It's been done so many times in the last 15 years with so many different that you've probably last track of all the people in charge. I know I have. Every once in a while a good guy or girl is in charge, but they don't last long because fans would rather boo that person. It's just how we are. If WWE does the angle where Vince removed Hunter and Stephanie from power then they're going to need a babyface to fill the void. It needs to be somebody that has a lot of credibility, that the fans like and that can deliver a promo when it's needed. Hulk Hogan's the right guy for that job. It's not just because he was a GM in TNA either. It's because he fits the role as one of the biggest wrestling legends ever. What we don't know is if Hogan is willing to be in that role on WWE TV. He might not want to travel every week. It could be too much of a toll on his body. If that's the case, there are other options available. Perhaps Sting would do it if WWE brings him in. He'd be a good fit also. It just seems like WWE is at that point where they feel the need to change things up and part of what they can do is put somebody new in charge.
