Here we have Mae Young, the oldest professional wrestler in the world and ambassador for the WWE. Young was a pioneer in the field of women's wrestling but why on earth she took part in this hideous story arc, I do not know. She joined the WWE in 1999, alongside another luminary in women's wrestling - The Fabulous Moolah. In the 2000 Royal Rumble, Mae Young was named 'Miss Royal Rumble' by posing in a bikini at the age of 76. To the viewer's disgust, she took off her top but thankfully, she was wearing a prothesis. Even more horrific - she started dating Mark Henry and announced she was pregnant. The mind truly boggles. The Dudley Boyz power bombed her twice but that couldn't stop the old bird from giving birth to a slimy hand, yes a hand, in the ring in an utterly gross sequence. I admire Young for her toughness in the ring and her technical prowess, she is a true wrestling legend, but for the WWE to proceed with such a disgusting and frankly weird story arc involving Young and Henry in a gerontophiliac partnership was stretching credibility - even for the WWE. And to give birth to a hand? It's just wrong on so many levels. An angle that had viewers' jaws dropped to the floor in disbelief.
