WWE: 10 Superstars Who Really Were The Total Package

2. Ric Flair

There are very few who can match Ric Flair's career, in terms of both longevity and success. Over the course of five decades Flair accumulated 16 officially recognised world titles €“ a record that still stands to this day. But much like the aforementioned Randy Savage, Flair was more than just an in-ring technician. He was a sports entertainment superstar from before his time. The "jet flying, limousine ridin', kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin', son of a gun" created a hugely entertaining persona, capable of delivering some of the most entertaining interviews and promos that we'd ever had the chance to witness. He was an expert in hyping up matches and feuds, a real old school promo-worker as demonstrated in this clip. And though much of his success arrived in WCW, he still managed to rejuvenate himself upon returning to the WWE in 2001. Siding with Triple H he formed Evolution €“ one of the most dominant heel factions in company history. He continued to compete at the highest level until the ripe old age of 59, and was a valuable commodity even during the twilight of his career. A wrestler, talker, master tactician €“ his list of capabilities was almost as long as his career €“ but above all else Ric Flair was an natural entertainer.
